Eastbound and Down renewed for second season

When we talked to Danny McBride just before the premiere of Eastbound and Down, the HBO series he co-created with Jody Hill and Ben Best, he said he and his old friends first envisioned the story as a three-hour movie that viewers could consume for a half hour a week.
