Jon Brion to Score Animated Film ParaNorman

Composer, producer and all-around virtuoso Jon Brion is working on the score for a new stop-motion animated thriller titled ParaNorman. Made by the same people behind 2009’s Coraline, ParaNorman follows a 13-year-old boy who can speak to the dead on a mission to save his town from zombies. Casey Affleck, Tempestt Bledsoe, Jeff Garlin and John Goodman are signed on to do voice acting. Sean Watkins and Jon Foreman form Fiction Family

When Nickel Creek said farewell (for now) to fans and disbanded in 2007, each member said they wanted to pursue solo projects.
