Jon Stewart, host of The Daily Show since 1999, has signed an extension on his contract keeping him as host through 2010. Previously he was only signed on through 2008, but perhaps due to the, according to The Hollywood Reporter, "easily into the eight-figure range" amount he'll be pulling a year, it looks like he'll be staying on for a little longer before looking elsewhere. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences announced today that Jon Stewart will be returning for another round of hosting with the Oscars. The show celebrating 2007's films will take place on Feb. 24 at the Kodak Theatre for the 80th annual self congratulal-a-thon.
