Noted eReader hater Jonathan Franzen was convinced by a fan to sign an Amazon Kindle recently. The author of The Corrections and Freedom reluctantly signed the back of the device where the author also added “SIGNED KINDLE” with his autograph. As noted, Franzen often voices his distaste for digital books and earlier this year stated, “When I read a book, I’m handling a specific object in a specific time and place.
