Joseph “Red Dog” Campabell passed away yesterday afternoon. He was one the most famous roadies in music, working with The Allman Brothers Band for over 30 years. So famous, in fact, that he appeared on the back cover of The Allman Brothers live album At the Fillmore East, and was written into the film Almost Famous by rock-journalist-turned-writer/director Cameron Crowe.
