CW Announces Sex in the City Prequel Series
As if prequels don't have a bad reputation as is, CW announced yesterday their intent to close a deal on a script for an upcoming show called The Carrie Diaries. Because we've all wondered at some point how Carrie got to where she was in Sex in the City, The Carrie Diaries will detail Carrie's final year in high school in the 80s and the internship that brings her to New York City. read more

The producer who introduced Death Cab for Cutie to millions of 16-year-olds via The O.C. is still out there sewing the seeds of musical variety through his CW hit Gossip Girl.
