Buffy The Vampire Slayer-Inspired Jones Soda

Buffy The Vampire Slayer-Inspired Jones Soda

Buffy the Vampire Slayer might have ended in 2003, but don’t underestimate the surviving value of Joss Whedon’s intellectual property. And don’t think that just because something Whedon created isn’t on air that it’s gone. Just ask Firefly fans. Buffy, however, lives on in a series of comics published by Dark Horse and now even has a (limited edition) line-up of Jones soda flavors dedicated to our favorite Scoobies.... read more

High Definition: Joss Whedon's Dollhouse Finally Hits Its Stride—Just In Time For Cancellation

High Definition: Joss Whedon's Dollhouse Finally Hits Its Stride—Just In Time For Cancellation

It looked like the creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly and Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog had finally created a dud. The concept was intriguing, but the episodic adventures of a gorgeous body that could be filled with whatever personality her handlers created for her were a little silly and a lot creepy. The main Doll, Echo (Eliza Dushku), would go on engagements as a hostage negotiator, a bodyguard or, most often, a lover, and it felt a lot like... read more

(For a tongue-in-cheek suggestion as to why Fox cancelled the series, check out this video from College Humor.)... read more
