Steve Carell to Star Alongside Will Ferrell in Swear to God

Warner Brothers’ 2013 film Swear to God, which will star Will Ferrell as a hedge fund manager who is convinced that he’s seen God, was originally set to be directed by longtime Ferrell collaborator Adam McKay (Anchorman, The Other Guys, Stepbrothers). Now, Deadline is reporting that Justin Theroux has been tapped to re-write and direct the film.
