With the release of Watch The Throne just a week away, no one can seem to get enough of Jay-Z and Kanye West’s monumental collaboration. Touring under the name “The Throne,” the two have announced a set of stadium shows to support the colossal new album. Kanye West recently stopped by the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival to hop onstage with his longtime hero and frequent collaborator Q-Tip. July 4 has come and gone, and while Kanye and Jay-Z didn’t drop Watch the Throne as was rumored, the two did reveal some new information. The collaboration album now has a shiny, gold cover and is available for pre-order at Island Def Jam’s website. According to the receipt, the record’s release date is Aug. 2. According to Ryan Seacrest, we’ll only have to wait until July 11 to hear some new music from the pair.
