KRS-ONE Releases New Album
KRS-ONE’s new album, Hip-Hop Lives, will be out on May 22nd on KOCH Records. On the new release, KRS-ONE—aka “the Teacha” aka “Knowledge Reigns Supreme Over Nearly Everyone”—continues in the political tradition he’s maintained for nearly 20 years as an outspoken hip-hop activist. The track "Kill A Rapper" questions why rap murders go unresolved by the police and the title track discusses the phenomenon of how hip-hop reinvents itself every year.
