It should go without saying that, as a publication, we're pretty big fans of that whole freedom-of-speech thing. So, we couldn't help but notice the list of the 100 most frequently challenged books from 1990-2000, as reported by the American Library Association. So It Goes: Kurt Vonnegut Dead At 84

As originally reported by BBC News Online, author Kurt Vonnegut died Wednesday at the age of 84. After suffering brain injuries following a fall in his Manhattan home several weeks ago, he never fully recovered, eventually dying from complications related to said fall. The literary legend was best known for his post-WWII cynicism as conveyed through such cult classics as Slaughterhouse-Five and Cat's Cradle. Vonnegut is survived by his wife, photographer Jill Krementz, and seven children.
