Lena Dunham's 66-Page Book Proposal Briefly Leaks

In early October, Lena Dunham’s proposed book of essays netted the actress/writer/director $3.7 million from Random House. The illustrated 66-page proposal has hit the web and now we can all see exactly what sparked such an intense bidding war. In it, Dunham features snapshots into her life, including a reproduced diary she kept of everything she ate in a specific month, travel anecdotes, lessons learned from therapy and more. Girls Already Renewed for Third Season

In a recent interview with DP/30 promoting his upcoming film, This is 40, executive producer Judd Apatow reveals that although the second season of Girls has yet to premiere, HBO has already renewed it for a third. “We’re about to shoot the third season of Girls,” Apatow said when asked about his upcoming projects and his mentorship with Lena Dunham, creator and star of the show.
