Los Lobos hits the road in February for a 16-city acoustic tour, dubbed the Acoustic en Vivo tour. The 34-year-old band will mix songs from their latest album, The Town and the City, with Los Lobos' classics and traditional Latin American folk-songs, playing acoustic instruments like guitarones, jaranas and bajo sextos. Los Lobos have been performing for more than 30 years, building their reputation with concerts. Their live album will hit shelves March 15, when Mammoth/Hollywood releases Los Lobos Live at the Fillmore. The band chose to record the Fillmore shows because the venue is one of its favorite places to play.
