It’s been over six years since Superman last graced the big screen and anticipation only continues to build as fans await his return next summer. Thanks to Facebook we now have a new poster for Zack Snyder’s upcoming imagining of the man of steel. Superman himself is handcuffed and being led by soldiers. While Superman is typically seen as the hero, this image paints a different picture and alludes to a possible darker tone (no surprise given Christopher Nolan had a hand in developing the script). With the anticipation bubble for Peter Jackson’s upcoming Hobbit trilogy about to burst, fantasy fans are going to need something else to look forward to. Enter: The Wolverine and Man of Steel. Both films won’t be released until next summer, but brand new trailers will soon give a glimpse into their respective worlds. Last night, the official Facebook page for Zach Snyder’s forthcoming Man of Steel Superman remake posted a modernized, classy photo of the superhero’s new logo. Darker than the original bright blue, yellow and red “S” and slightly more cursive looking, the emblem is very reminiscent of Christopher Nolan’s highly popularized Batman film, The Dark Knight.  read more
