Although it hardly made a dent in the box office, last year's biopic of Joy Division frontman Ian Curtis was definitely an artistic success. Aside from its gorgeous visuals, one of the film's key elements was its restrained and poignant screenplay from television writer Matt Greenhalgh. Greenhalgh followed the work up by writing about another important British artist, John Lennon. But since the work was announced over a year ago without any news, word was that it had died.Popular@pastemagazine.com
