Neo-soul pioneer Meshell Ndegeocello’s seventh full-length, The World Has Made Me the Man of My Dreams, premiers Sept. 25 on Emarcy Records. Twenty years into a career that has garnered her nine Grammy nominations with no wins, Ndegeocello seems indifferent to award-show recognition. “I just make beats," she says on Meshell.com.
