In an interview with The Verge, Valve CEO Gabe Newell has confirmed the rumors that it is building its own “Steambox” with a Linux OS. The box will act as a local server for all of the players’ screens. Newell said the technology is designed to work across multiple platforms in the home, bringing convenience to users. With the new hardware users could have, “one PC and eight televisions and eight controllers…We’re used to having one monitor, or two monitors — now we’re saying let’s expand that a little bit.” Newell said.... read more

Cults has released their official video for “Go Outside” off of their debut record. Directed by Isaiah Seret, the video is centered around Jim Jones and his famous mega-cult the People’s Temple. Seret has spliced together news footage from the 1978 Jonestown massacre and footage of the Peoples Temple so it appears that the cult members are actually singing the band’s song.
