The soundtrack album will feature several re-recorded Joy Division songs. Sam Riley has been cast as lead singer Ian Curtis and Alexandra Maria Lara as his lover Annik. New Order will return with new album Waiting For The Sirens' Call—its first studio effort since 2001's Get Ready—whcih will be released April 26, 2005. The album was recorded over seven months, using several producers, including Stephen Street (Blur, The Smiths), John Leckie (Pink Floyd, Stone Roses), Stuart Price (Madonna) and the members of New Order themsleves.
