R.E.M. has announced that they’re calling it quits. In a statement on their site today the band wrote about the break up. The Athens, Ga. band broke in the late '80s and went on to record hits like "Losing My Religion" and "Everybody Hurts." Their last recorded album was this year's Collapse Into Now. read more
