The Southern Comfort Music Experience (SCMX) is making its way around the country and Paste is on board to provide a firsthand account of the goings on. Centennial Olympic Park in downtown Atlanta served as the kick-off venue for this year’s SCMX series. Newcomer Ryan Shaw is hitting the festival circuit this summer, satiating dehydrated, sunstroked listeners with sweet, sweet soul stylings. Along the way, he'll spend a morning at CBS studios July 28 for an appearance on the Saturday Early Show. After accompanying Robert Randolph on tour last fall, up-and-coming soul crooner Ryan Shaw will once again join the blues/funk rocker for a brief jaunt along the west coast this March.
