Nominees for the 2004 Shortlist Music Prize

The Shortlist Organization has announced this year’s nominees for its annual Shortlist Music Prize. A panel of 20 top recording artists, music journalists and filmmakers including Norah Jones, Jack Black, Jim Jarmusch and Robert Smith have selected 73 nominees. The list will be culled down to 10 finalists in late September, and the Prize will be awarded during a multi-artist concert at the Wiltern in Los Angeles on November 10.
