There may be no better album title this year than Six Organs of Admittance’s Shelter from the Ash. It’s neither elaborate (like another good one: Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer?) nor mysteriously banal (Strawberry Jam), just evocative and a bit threatening, as if Six Organs mastermind Ben Chasny is warning you about a real-life Dante’s Peak.
