Artists React As Pukkelpop Death Toll Rises, Festival Canceled

The Associated Press has reported that the death toll in a stage collapse at the Pukkelpop festival has risen to five. Three people are still in critical condition and are “fighting for their lives,” a Belgian doctor said, who added that the majority of those injured at the event were struck on the head by debris. The event, held in Hasselt, Belgium, was canceled Thursday after thunderstorms downed metal scaffolding from the stage and ripped apart tents. It was to be headlined by the Foo Fighters and Eminem.  read more
