Craig Finn, frontman of Brooklyn bar-rockers The Hold Steady, is in Austin working on a solo project with producer Mike McCarthy. To document his progress, Finn has established a Tumblr account. So far it’s mostly photos of guitars, pianos and beer. Fans of Finn’s main enterprise shouldn’t fear, however. Yesterday’s Tumblr post said that The Hold Steady would start writing their sixth LP in September.... read more
