X-Men Cartoon Intro Recreated in Stop Motion

While live-action mutants have dominated the big screen in recent years, our favorite X-Men got the animated treatment for a Saturday morning Fox cartoon during the ’90s. As the 20th anniversary approaches, director Kyle Roberts and his team decided to recreate the intro with action figures and stop motion. Video Premiere: Hello Echo - "Why Are We Waiting?"

After releasing their debut LP Hello in 2011, Los Angeles trio Hello Echo have spent the fall touring in support of their follow-up EP Coffee Cups. The band’s latest video reveals some creativity outside of music, too. Guitarist and vocalist Sean Aylward created this charming stop-motion video in the band’s practice space with his own tools and props.
