Brooklyn trio Suckers first came across our radar at CMJ in 2009. At that point, their self-titled debut EP had just been released. The following year, we saw them at SXSW and Suckers’ first full-length album, Wild Smile dropped a couple months later. Now, band members Austin Fisher, Pan, and Quinn Walker are prepping their second LP, Candy Salad for an April 24 release on Frenchkiss. We’ve had the Avett Brothers play the skybuckets in Jackson Hole, Chairlift play the Bonnaroo Ferris Wheel and Madi Diaz play a rooftop pool in Austin, Texas. This time, we got a little less creative, and asked Suckers to play the parking lot outside of The Variety Playhouse in Atlanta.
