Song Premiere: Summer Camp - "Down"

Previously anonymous London lo-fi synthpop duo Summer Camp (Jeremy Warmsley and Elizabeth Sankey) have their first studio album coming up, Welcome To Condale, due for release on November 8. Warmsley (a folktronica singer-songwriter with two albums under his belt) and Sankey (a writer who's written for Platform and NME) originally masqueraded as a group of 7 Swedes hiding behind 1970s snapshots when they uploaded their first track to Myspace in 2009, a cover of The Flamingos' "I Only Have Eyes For You". The track was picked up by music blogs, the mystery and intrigue added to the buzz and eventually they were tapped by Moshi Moshi, releasing "Ghost Train" as the group's first single.  read more
