Clear Channel Asks Weezer, The Eagles, Christina Aguilera, More to be DJs

The brains behind the Stagecoach Country Music Festival (Coachella's alter-ego) just added a third day - Friday, May 2 - to its schedule, and have pulled down none other than The Eagles to headline it. The event, billed as "California's country music festival" features other big-name country, bluegrass, folk, roots rock and alt.country acts like Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw, the Judds, Carrie Underwood and Big & Rich. The Eagles are not for everyone. But baby boomers with lots of disposable income do tend to have a special spot in their hearts for the group. So it doesn't come as much surprise that, even with its new double-disced album Long Road out of Eden available only at Wal-Mart, the group topped the latest Billboard charts.
