Last night, The Flaming Lips took the Which stage at midnight for a start-to-finish performance of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon. The crowd was thrumming with energy—glowsticks rocketing through the air, balloons and beach balls bouncing off of eager, waiting hands. The Flaming Lips’ scheduled Bonnaroo performance of the entirety of Dark Side of the Moon with friends Stardeath and White Dwarfs will be the second time they perform the album live. The first was in the Lips’ native Oklahoma City, last New Years’ Eve at midnight.
