The Magic Numbers have announced some new August tour dates, most as openers for Rufus Wainwright. The UK band released its infectious sophomore album, Those the Brokes last fall, and since its 2005 origins, has supported colossal-name acts like U2, Brian Wilson, The Flaming Lips, Sonic Youth and The Who. Magic Numbers Finish Sophomore LP

Two years after The Magic Numbers' stellar debut earned them a spot on Paste's coveted 4 To Watch roster, the London foursome is at it again, this time with another album, a new label and a string arranger to boot. The Numbers' sophomore LP, titled Those The Brokes, will hit streets stateside on July 3 thanks to Astralwerks. The album was recorded at Allaire Studios in Woodstock, N.Y., and boasts the band's first use of strings.
