The Pipettes --a Brighton-born dance-pop trio of sassy-skirted sirens straight out of the '50s-- are dropping their first full-length album, We are the Pipettes, come October 2nd, while kicking off their nation-wide tour that very evening in the windy city of Chi-town. The bubblegum chewing, doo-wop crooning wonder girls have backed big names like the now defunct Sleater-Kinney and fellow musical throwback singer Amy Winehouse, and with good measure.
