Two years ago The Who marked its comeback to the studio with Endless Wire. Now, Pete Townshend has begun to talk of plans for a follow-up. Reportedly, Townshend and Roger Daltrey both have started writing individually, in hopes of producing an album that reflects a classic Who sound. “Roger is working on his own idea for an album for us, with the producer T-Bone Burnett, who is an old friend of mine,” Townshend said recently on his blog.
