They Might Be Giants to Release Science-Themed Kids' Album, Follow With Tour

Since 2002, They Might Be Giants has been introducing their alt-rock sound to a whole new generation. The next addition to the kid-friendly portion of their CV will be Here Comes Science, an album (not to be confused with this album) with tracks about such wonderfully scientific things as paleontology, chemical elements and photosynthesis, and a DVD of corresponding animated videos. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal for kids who weren't lucky enough to grow up with Bill Nye the Science Guy....  read more

Often compared to Alice In Wonderland, it’s a compelling story—and sturdy enough, one hopes, to be retold in three different way throughout the next year.  ...  read more

They might be funny. But they aren't nearly as ironic as everyone seems to think. Just because TMBG sings about historical figures and metaphysical birdhouses doesn't mean it's fishing for a laugh...  read more
