French electronic music duos have a knack for scoring films. Air, a french group from Versailles, worked with Sofia Coppola’s film adaptation of The Virgin Suicides and added the surreal soundtrack to the restoration of George Méliès’ Le Voyage Dans La Lune. Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter Directs Short Film

Thomas Bangalter, one half of electronica pioneers Daft Punk alongside Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, directed and did the cinematography on a short film for the LA-based fashion house Co's, which just opened earlier this year. The film is titled Spring-Summer 2012 and is likely an advertisement for Co's upcoming lines for those seasons.  read more
