Lera Lynn’s song “Bobby Baby” won the 2011 Chris Austin Songwriting Contest hosted by Merlefest Festival in Wilkesboro, N.C., which afforded her the privilege of performing between headlining sets. But before leaving for the festival, she and bandmate Ben Lewis recorded a banjo-driven cover of TV On The Radio’s “Wolf Like Me.” While learning the song, Lera Lynn heard that TV On The Radio’s bassist Gerard Smith passed away from a battle with lung cancer. They have since offered “Wolf Like Me” as a tribute to the musician....  read more
