U2 Announces Title of Forthcoming Album
U2 has titled its forthcoming album How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb. The title has long been rumored on various fan websites and forums, but official confirmation has now been given from the band. "Vertigo" will be released as the first single and will feature the B-side cover of Kraftwerk’s "Neon Lights". U2’s latest album may hit stores earlier than expected, in November, according to a BBC interview with the band’s manager, Paul McGuinness. Though the release was tentatively scheduled for spring 2005, Universal Records Italy, Universal France and Universal Records Switzerland all name fall 2004 as the album’s new projected release date.
