In May, we told you of the extensive and eclectic Guitar Hero 5 tracklist, which was to feature 83 bands from The White Stripes and Vampire Weekend to Bob Dylan and The Rolling Stones. Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig has found a new outlet for his Paul Simon-eque affinity for Afro-pop, sharing the mic with Malawian singer Esau Mwamwaya on the title track of The Very Best's upcoming debut LP The Warm Heart of Africa. It was the Craigslist ad heard 'round the world: Someone out there (well, in Brooklyn) wanted to form a Vampire Weekend cover band, and promised tacos to those who showed up to audition.
