In an interview with The Verge, Valve CEO Gabe Newell has confirmed the rumors that it is building its own “Steambox” with a Linux OS. The box will act as a local server for all of the players’ screens. Newell said the technology is designed to work across multiple platforms in the home, bringing convenience to users.
