Google and Facebook Do the Harlem Shake
With 12,000 parody videos uploaded just since the beginning of February, it’s no wonder that Baauer’s Harlem Shake has made to the offices of digital media giants Facebook and Google, according to The Verge. Yes, staff members of both companies took time out of their busy day to dance and film the viral meme at their respective campuses. The meme generally uses a 30-second clip from the dance song, “Harlem Shake” by Baauer and usually begins with a solo dancer wearing a hat and then suddenly explodes with a scene featuring tons of people dancing along with the first dancer.... read more
