Vimeo to Launch Visual Effects, Video Filters Feature

In a press release, Vimeo announced Thursday the launch of a new visual effects feature on its video sharing site. The new features is called "Looks" and its collection of over 500 visual effects filters that can be applied to users' original videos. Oscars Announce Achievement in Visual Effects Shortlist

Recently the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences announced the initial 15 considerations for the Achievement in Visual Effects Award to be presented at next year's 84th Academy Awards. In January, they'll narrow the list further and announce the final 10 nominees.  read more
