Watch Wilco Face Off With Popeye

Watch Wilco Face Off With Popeye

Wilco released a video for The Whole Love track “Dawned on Me,” and we’re frankly a bit speechless other than: “it’s adorable.” The clip features the band fully animated in Popeye’s world. Wilco Jams with Mavis Staples and Nick Lowe

Wilco Jams with Mavis Staples and Nick Lowe

“Tweeeday,” as veteran soul singer Mavis Staples calls him, has been on a roll the past few months. Before a show at the Civic Opera House in Chicago last month, Staples and singer-songwriter Nick Lowe joined the guys for a rousing rendition of The Band’s hit “The Weight.” Time for a...  read more

Watch Jeff Tweedy Forecast the Weather

Watch Jeff Tweedy Forecast the Weather

Wilco recently visited their hometown news station WGN-TV in Chicago. The band performed “Dawned on Me” and “Whole Love” off of their eighth and latest album, this past September’s The Whole Love. The studio appearance would have been awesome enough by itself, but frontman Jeff Tweedy took it up a notch by stumbling out to give a hilariously deadpan and to-the-point weather forecast as “Supplemental Hair” to the Mr. Clean-esque regular forecaster, Paul Konrad. Check it out on WGN-TV’s website....  read more

Looking through the final list, it seems I’m not alone.  read more
