We already warned you that The Black Keys were hitting the U.K. this November. Now we have learned, via Brooklyn Vegan, that the Ohio-based duo have extended its Winter tour through January, and will hit Australia, followed by one show in New York.
Reaffirming that Neil Young really does have a "Heart of Gold," the venerable singer/songwriter will once again headline the 2008 Bridge School Benefit concert, in honor of the California school he co-founded to provide assistance for children with severe physical and speech impairments.
Tomorrow (Aug. 16), Queens of the Stone Age will be holding a benefit concert for Eleven's Natasha Shneider, at Los Angeles' Harvey Theater. Shneider, who supported QotSA on their 2005 tour, died of cancer earlier this Summer. Proceeds from the show will go towards paying Shneider's medical expenses.
