Jam Cruise 3, leaves port in Jacksonville, Fla., on Jan. 6, 2005 for 4 days aboard the Carnival Cruiselines ship Celebration.

Jam Cruise 3 will host over 30 performances, featuring fifteen bands from the improvisational music community. The lineup includes Galactic, Les Claypool, Sound Tribe Sector 9, Keller Williams, Col. Bruce Hampton and the Aquarium Rescue Unit, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, Jazz Mandolin Project featuring Jamie Masfield and Jon Fishman, North Mississippi Allstars, Ozomatli, Peretz (Perry Farrell) with special guest Alex Graham, Peter Rowan, Tony Rice, Robert Walter's 20th Congress, Umphrey's McGee, Garaj Mahal, Mofro, Tishamingo, DJ Logic and more.

In addition to the performances, the Jam Cruise experience promises once-in-a-lifetime artist collaborations and opportunities for hangtime with the musicians who are so often inaccessible backstage.

Jam Cruise 3 will stop in Freeport, Bahamas, and will offer passengers two full days at sea. The Celebration accommodates 1500 passengers and boasts such luxury amenities as 3 pools, nine passenger decks, ten lounges, a twenty-four-hour pizza bar and dinnertime sushi bar, a health spa and large and comfortable lodging facilities.
