has forged a unique partnership with iTunes, and iTunes with Ticketmaster, in order to offer fans a comprehensive musical experience. Folds enthusiasts had been pre-ordering the new album, Way to Normal, together with choice seats at concerts on the current tour. Two downloadable, advance tracks were also offered as incentive for this deal.
But there's more: Ben Folds' will be the test tour for a new iTunes program, "The Sounds of Last Night...This Morning." At 10 performances, one live track will be recorded, to be released the next day on iTunes. After the tour, these songs will be collected onto an iTunes exclusive live album.
Way to Normal is Folds' third solo LP, and features guest performer Regina Spektor on the first single, "You Don't Know Me." Check out concert dates, and how to access "The Sounds of Last Night" here.
