In an effort to reach a wider audience and kick-start anticipation for its 2009 festival, Bonnaroo will launch a new program entitled Bonnaroo 365 that lets fans stream past performances and download free audio content. The Raconteurs, one of the big-name bands of last year's festival, were the first act available as of this past Sunday, Jan. 11.
from The Raconteur's '08 set are available to download (one available to everyone, the other three just for Bonnaroo community members). Three songs are from its 2008 Consolers of the Lonely album (including the title track, "Old Enough" and "Top Yourself"), and the fourth is from its first album, Broken Boy Soldiers ("Blue Veins").
The entire set, however, is being incrementally streamed. To check out the full set list, head here. No other Bonnaroo 365 artists have been announced, but considering the 2008 festival featured My Morning Jacket, Arcade Fire, Kanye West, Iron & Wine and Death Cab For Cutie, the possibilities are endless (and exciting).
Bonnaroo 2009 is scheduled for June 11-14, and tickets will go on sale in March.
