A pneumonia-stricken Paterson Hood has been taking a few days off from the Drive-By Truckers tour, after ending up at the hospital and being unable to finish shows because of exhaustion. The Truckers have continued to tour without him for a couple of dates, with guitarist Mike Cooley taking over and playing his own songs; however, the group has decided to cancel some of their dates until frontman Hood fully recuperates.

The Drive-By Truckers canceled their remaining February dates and will resume their Righteous Path tour in late March, when hopefully Hood will be recuperated and ready to go.

The rescheduled performances include Lexington, Ky., Milwaukee, Wis., St. Louis, Mo., Memphis, Tenn., and Tuscaloosa, Ala. Some of the canceled dates were rescheduled for late March and the dates after that should remained unchanged. The tickets from the original date will be honored at the new, rescheduled date and refunds will be offered to those who cannot attend the new dates.

The dates in Milwaukee and Alabama are not yet rescheduled, but news about these dates will be released soon.
