If you want Samuel L. Jackson to be in your movie, the line just got a lot longer. Marvel Studios signed a nine-picture deal with the actor last week for him to play government super agent Nick Fury in a host of planned films, including Iron Man 2 and The Avengers.
The deal included the possibility that Fury, who spearheads a fictional
agency called S.H.I.E.L.D., would headline his own movie. Since
Marvel already has the next several summers booked with high-profile
productions, though, that seems pretty far off.
Fans previously got a glance at Jackson in character at the end of Iron
Man, in the obligatory franchise-baiting final scene. And in case you missed it, have a look:
