Consider your tax dollars put to work: National Public Radio is streaming unreleased albums from St. Vincent, Conor Oberst and Jason Lytle.
The new album streams are part of NPR Music's beloved "First Listen" series, which in the past has included the likes of Bob Dylan, Neko Case, Animal Collective, Andrew Bird, Camera Obscura and Neil Young.
Actor, the new album from St. Vincent (otherwise known as Annie Clark), will be released tomorrow, but listeners can preview the entire album now on NPR.org. Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band's Outer South is also coming out tomorrow and is also available for streaming. Starting today, listeners can preview Yours Truly, the Commuter, the new album from Grandaddy's Jason Lytle. Also included with the streams are tracklistings, past interviews, concert archives, reviews and album information.
