Will Ferrell is keeping busy these days. Along with Step Brothers director Adam McKay, Ferrell is producing the forthcoming Tim and Eric movie, and now, he and McKay have joined Dead Snow's Tommy Wirkola to produce Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, a sort-of sequel to the original children story, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Following the events of their clever escape from the evil witch, the "sequel" centers around Hansel and Gretel, now adults, who are bounty hunters on the prowl for witches 15 years after the cookie-house tale.
Aiming for an action/comedy premise with a nostalgic feel, Wirkola is currently working on the film's outline while McKay finishes up other projects.
