For 10 years, Chuck Eddy was the music editor at The Village Voice, commenting on everything from hip-hop to country. Although he's no longer on the editorial staff at the Voice,he is still writing, sometimes for his former publication, but also for Spin, Rhapsody and Billboard. Most notably, the critic, 48, is preparing an anthology of some of the best of his work.
The book will include some of his most influential essays, including a review of Aerosmith's Done With Mirrors that is credited as the inspiration for the group's collaboration with Run-D.M.C., as well as the first national interview with The Flaming Lips.
